Golden Tan & Blue Renaissace Gown with Split Draped Sleeves approx size 20 FS07

Description

This gown is a subtle blend of light blue against an old gold background and made of a heavy embroidered upholstery fabric.  The front inset and the lining of the sleeves sare blue with a touch of silver.  The upper part of the sleeves from shoulder to elbow is fitted and tight, therefore an upper arm of more than 14 inches around would not fit into the sleeve.  Be sure to measure your arm before ordering. The gown has a 37 inch waist and 45 inch bust but could be slightly larger or smaller since it laces closed in the back with blue satin cord.  The upper edge of the bodice, the waist, and the inset are accented with gold and white ribbon. The length of gown from shoulder to floor is 58 inches.  Waist to floor is 45 inches.  Neck to waist is 16 inches.  The hem of the gown can be easily shortened.   The gown has a small label with the name of my company, Thumbelina Gowns, sewn into an inner seam.  Dry-cleaning would be suggested for the care of the gown since it is a mix of fabrics.  A description of the gown has been added to my design book, along with several photographs.  I do so to ensure that I never repeat a gown.  This is the only gown of this color combination I will make off this pattern.  This costume took 16 hours to make from first cut of cloth to the last knotted thread.
