Description
Ok ...I bought several homemade costumes at a local estate sale. Not sure if they were for a drag queen, in theater,Halloween
or costume parties but they are all really fun outfits, though very hard to photograph!
This costume is an
Japanese
Kimono style dress with the sash or Obi. It is made of a red and gold brocade type of material. It was really hard to photograph but here are side panels in the skirt portion of the dress that are solid gold color. They flare and give the dress some volume. The wow factor on this costume are the sleeves. They are really cool. The Obi is in the same gold color as the side panels...the ties are in the red and gold material. The dress zips up the back. Anyway, keep in mind that this is a home made costume so the construction is solid but rough and not not "polished or finished" like a real dress. It is smoke free but been packed away in a closet so needs a little airing (nothing bad). Measurements are below. Pics are horrible and don't do it justice.
