Diaper rash is most commonly caused by prolonged exposure to wet and/or soiled diapers. Other causes include taking antibiotics, when solid foods are first introduced, or when a breastfeeding mom eats certain foods.
Diaper rash can appear differently for every baby. Common signs to look for are skin that is red, flaky, or chafed, has dry, raised bumps, or may be warm to the touch.
After changing a wet/soiled diaper and cleaning and drying the area, liberally apply a thick, even layer of Boudreaux's Butt Paste on affected area.
Call your doctor if your baby experiences any of these symptoms: the rash blisters or bleeds, a fever is present, cries in pain when rash is touched, spreads to other areas (or parts) of the body, or symptoms do not improve or worsen in 3 days with home treatment.

Directions for use:
Remove seal from jar prior to use.
Change wet and soiled diaper immediately.
Cleanse the diaper area and allow to dry.
Apply ointment liberally and as often as necessary with each diaper change and especially when exposed to wet diapers for a prolonged period of time, such as bedtime.

Store at room temperature, 20 degrees C to 27 degrees C (68 degrees F to 80 degrees F).
